Here we are...i'll try to update more...i stink at this game. Today we went to Caledonia's easter egg hunt. Jeremy couldn't go, as he had to work today (one of the rare times that he has to work a saturday...) so i thought i would see if nana and papa would like to partake. They did so lovingly! Too bad it turned out that they were prepared only for the size of crowd they had last year, which was 1/3 the amount of people they had this year! None of our kids got to "find" any eggs. Lex went running and fell and then Ty toppled over her - by the time they got up - all and i do mean ALL of the eggs were taken. A little girl did stop and give Ty one of hers, so that was nice, but the majority of people were walking out with nothing! So we have decided (well, i have) that if no one builds a house in the field behind ours for next year - we're going to do our own. 
Bring your own plastic eggs filled with candy to hide, and we'll do our own little shin dig! So to make up for the disappointment (they weren't really disappointed much at all) nana said the easter bunny told her that he was bringing some extras to her house to hunt down...yeah!
We came home and had lunch and i took the kids outside for a little photo shoot in their cutie
clothes and now they are napping. We'll finish up the resurrection eggs in the evening - as i want the children to understand what Easter is really about (where did the bunny come from anyway?) They need to know that they have a God, a wonderful God that loves them and sent His son to die for them...and that tomorrow, a tomorrow many many years ago, He arose from the tomb and lives today. I proudly say He is my Savior, and i (we) will celebrate that tomorrow! He is risen, He is risen indeed!
