we got here, had a dinner in the hotel room and took the kids to the pool. Our little pool whale that we had for Alexis was flat as a pancake so we had our hands full. Lexi got dunked quite a few times and loved it. Gabby had arm floaties on for the first time and really did quite well. had her out in the middle of the pool floating and trying to swim. I had her just holding two fingers and jumping into the pool. And yes, she went under the water when she jumped and still wanted to do it again and again! She's really got to work on keeping her mouth closed. but she did quite well! She got tired of the arm swimmies and wanted her life jacket on, and was all over that pool. she didn't want to get out! Ty got dunked as well, and was freaked out unless we were just bouncing in the water while holding him. His favorite was to stand on the first step in the pool and bend over and just splash. He didn't want to jump in or anything. It took him forever to even think about going in further than the first step. We got back to the room and crashed. Daddy was trying to snuggle in the kids bed and Gabby and Ty kept telling him to get out. Gabby told him that he needed to go by mommy and not be in their bed. Gabby tucked Tyler in and they snuggled off to sleepy land. Tyler basically pushed Gabby right to the side of the bed and I woke up when Gabby realized she was out of room and so she climbed out of her bed and snuggled right in to daddy's chest on the edge of our bed...Gabby doesn't even remember doing it, nor does she remember falling out of this spot, right onto the floor between the side of the bed and the nightstand and getting stuck! Everyone was up at 6:3o thanks to this little boo that we all know and now the kids (and mommy) want to go off to the waffle house for breakfast. (as Ty calls it - he wants wa-wals...wa-wal hos....)and now off to Alabama to see the brewer's and that handsome, new little man of theirs!
